The new Commercial Edition Zone is an updated formula of the prior Gold Range Zone and proven through trials to be much more superior. Dutch Master plant scientists increased the specialized chloramine precursors which negated the need for copper sulfate.
The new Zone should be added per the feed chart when making a fresh reservoir and then added again every 3 - 5 days (depending on environmental stresses) to maintain its efficacy in anti-pathogenic protection.
Here are some additional ways Zone can be used:
Clones can be fully dipped into a bucket (not including the media - rockwool etc) using Zone @ 5-10mL/gallon of water and Saturator @ 20mL/gallon of water. This should knock down potential nasty leaf borne pathogens like powdery mildew.
If dipping the rockwool cubes etc. use Zone @ 3-6mL/gallon of water and Saturator @ 20mL/gallon of water. Gently squeeze out any excess solution from the cube after dipping. This should knock down root rot causing pathogens like pythium, phytophthora and fusarium.
Adult vegetative plants can be sprayed using Zone @ 10mL/gallon of water and Saturator @ 20mL/gallon of water to control outbreaks of powdery mildew.
Always spot test any of the above applications on 1 plant / clone prior. Some strains may be more sensitive than others. Negative effects from too much Zone usage will eventually show as a brown necrotic (dead) splotch on the leaves.
